1997 323f 1.8i automatic Executive.

I wasn't really thinking about a 323 but needed a stop-gap car for my wife who only drives automatic cars. Bought it and the family are all loving it, loads of fun, quick enough and sticks to the road well. My wife will be using it for a few weeks until her new car arrives, then it's project time for me.

Long MOT, 46k miles that appears to be genuine. A nearly fuill service history. It's mechanically sound but the paintwork needs some attention. I thought it would need a full respray but on closer inspection it may just need the bumpers sorting and few touch ups.

I'm not planning to do much beside the paintwork. Keeping it as original as I can.

Welcome! You've found the 323f fun and I hope you enjoy it as much as everyone here has. From the photo it looks very straight and original. Low mileage too, which bodes well for the bodywork more than the engine (engines just keep going). The cills and wheel arches look really good on this side.

An executive auto - very nice. I'd guess you've already put some work in to cleaning up the plastics - that black hi-level brake light surround looks really smart. Also really tidy original alloys.
Our family love ours too - it's big enough for mates and their stuff but low and sleek and a bit unusual.
Did you leave the ignition on, or does your aerial not auto-retract? Can be sorted if its stuck.
Anyway, search this forum for loads of legacy help and advice. It's a bit quieter here these days, but there is an active whatsapp group for the V6 version, and a Facebook group for all kinds of 323. And let us know if you'll be at any shows - might find others can make it along too

Hello, welcome in. That looks a great car.
I've had two of those, one dark red, one bright red. Both gone now, but I still have a BG (the newer model).
