I was just wondering, what is my beloved Mazda 323 bg worth for spares
or repair?

It's got 108,000 on the clock now; I've had it 7 yrs from 36,000 and it's been an absolutely brilliant car! Nothing major has EVER gone wrong, apart from the usual - breaks etc, which have been attended to over the last few yrs. It had a new timing belt at 90,000 miles.

It's got a small dent in the boot and a hole in the rear light and a cracked paint-job on one wing; and apart from a few spots of rust and a rust lip on the bonnet, it's in good condition - especially if someone gave it a good clean and polish. The inside is in ok condition. It would also need a wheel bearing and the front brake pads changed.

But the mechanics are sound on it. Brilliant engine! It fired up instantly after being idle for a month.

So, can anyone here advise me? I know it's parts are worth a lot and it is a very unusual style. To be honest, I've only ever seen a couple of them around since I've had it!

does it have an MOT?

Not worth a lot without it, can buy a good one for a few hundred quid

i'd go with marc on this one. If t has an MOT then anywhere between £200- £400, if not then not much, maybe the same as you'd get from the scrap man.

If the body panels are good then you might find a GTR or GTX owner that would be interested.
As the guys say, without an MOT its worth diddly squat!
