Hello
I lost the fob for the 3rd party alarm on my L plate 323 some time ago, and all was okay. However, the battery went flat recently, and now when jump started, the alarm is sounding and hazards flashing - which is a bit of a problem!

The unit is a Serpi Star AS 44, if that helps!

There appears to be just one multi plug of 6 wires connecting the unit, so the plan is to break the connection, and jumper the necessary wires together to allow the car to run -simple.

However, I need to to know the funtions of the wires, so can someone PLEASE confirm what they do?

The wires are

purple/brown

red

red/black

black/white

red/white

Brown

Clearly the brown is a permanent feed from the battery - but what are the other circuits?

I would really appreciate some help with the codes.

Thanks in advance

Tim

If the wire colours above are the ones coming from the 3rd party alarm, without finding a diagram on the internet, it could be impossible to tell what each one does without tracing each wire to where it connects to the car loom.

If you just disconnect the unit via the multi plug, does the car still run okay etc? Might be the simplest solution....
