Well I guess you and I never thought we'd see the day.......but I have just purchased a 'new' car and I'm therefore now the proud owner of 2 cars.

However - I don't collect Maisey II (it won't be called that) until Friday, and having been in PM conversations with people this week, I doubt I shall own two cars for very long.

Although I shall be keeping a watchful eye on the forum for a while, and indeed will continue to share my knowledge, wisdom, humour, honesty and will continue to help people where I can, maybe it's not quite so appropriate for the club secretary to be a non owner - but that decision will be left to the club moderators to decide.

BUT - I shall be keeping in touch with all the GOOD FRIENDS I have made over the years, and you never know - I may still turn up for the odd meet or two.........but don't offer to race me if I do turn up :evil4:

Thanks for a great time, may you all continue to be right F'ers for many a year to come!

Richardesty

Keep in touch mate.

This place will not be the same without you.

P.S. Get the aperture of your own bodily exhaust checked. The last I heard it sounded a bit clogged. :evil4:

See you soon mate

As nat said :Thumbright:

I know i haven't been here long, but you are by far one of the most ingenious people on this forum and your car was top quality modded(or so it looked from the pics)

Good luck with the new car

Well mate, after speaking to you tonight and reading this I now feel quite sad.

End of an era really. You were there when I turned up for my first meet and instantly got chatting to me, shortly after that meet you did me a Carciature of Esty and from then on we became friends.

You've been a fantastic member and what I would call a great embassador for the club.

I hope you stay on here as much you can and make it to as many meets as possible. As you've said before this club isn't always about the cars. One thing I love about this club is the fact people move on but still remain with the club, JP for example (who never even had a F lol)

All your mods have inspired the people on here and given us ideas that we simply wouldn't have thought of.

I'll be keeping in touch with you and dropping by when I can, you won't get rid of me that easily.

Cheers Rich,

Matt

Hey - steady on......

I'm not going anywhere, and I'm 99% sure Maisey will stay 'in the club' :thumbleft:

Thank you Matt - that's most generous of you.

I'm very proud to say that ALL of my best friends are members of the club, and best friends they will stay (You won't get rid of me that easily!).

I believe I am at that junction of my life where on several levels, I need to move on. Unfortunately for me, Maisey is one of them - the club however is not :thumbleft:

I will be on the forum fairly regularly, I will attend meets and modding meets where possible, and therefore I aim to make sure that I'm neither gone nor forgotten.

Oh - and I can still do the caricatures :thumbleft:

APRIL FOOL

Oh no, it's not April - Damn!

So I can't be joking and I didn't just dream this - although I did really struggle to sleep last night with all sorts of exciting little trademark tweeks I can do to 'Quattro' when I get him on Friday, to make him 'mine' :thumbleft:

Who the bloody hell else makes a 'Quattro'? :evil4:

As most of you've guessed now I may as well share my new steed........

May I introduce "Quattro" my Quartz Grey Audi A4 S-line Quattro 2.0 (170) TDi - which will be in my garage on Friday night :thumbleft:

Image

And the plate.........well H'S Richard Sarah Oliver is no longer appropriate.

So as I still like my nickname of H, It's H'S Vorsprung Durch Technik (Leadership Through Design) :thumbleft:

I've had 'Vorsprung Durch Technik' popped onto the bottom of my plates, but on the extra one for Laura's horse box I've slipped in a little spelling mistake......... Vhorseprung Durch Technik :evil4:

:pale:

Sad to see you moving on from being an F-er Rich..who would have ever thought that we would have to see this day?!?!

Like others have said mate, Maisey has been an inspiration to us all. I hope she stays in the club and that the new owner cares for her just as you have for all those years.

Glad you're sticking around though, and look forward to seeing how Quattro evolves :D Will no doubt keep in touch, see you at meets and continue to pick on your brains! :thumbleft:

Rich, Well chosen, only thing is, you will have to stay on the scene promoting Megs. That Audi looks as though it will take some polish :laughing6:

Good choice of colour too. :thumbright:

yep - that's where it belongs.......the only thing that's coming off Maisey is a layer of dirt and the Roadpilot Speed Camera detector :thumbleft:

No mate - I'm gonna go it alone on this one, and stick with what I know - www.club323f.com

That gives me an idea, I wonder if I could replace the Audi rings with 4 Mazda badges :evil4:
