Post subject:  My Prelude Project

Hi all,

Rather than re-post everything here, I may as well point you at my website, which has pretty much my full project log of what I've done to my Prelude in the last 18 months... well, since this happened:

to how it is now:

Yeah - nice work - no wonder you're confused though, having a Honda badge on the front......

By the way - watch out for the police, they are really cracking down on non legal plates - their nice new number plate reading technology throws a wobbly at anything other than standard :evil4:

Thanks for all the comments :)

Well the police turned up when I had the accident, which as you can see, I had the small plate on. They didn't bat an eyelid at it, or say anything about it!!

No blue in the brake lights - they're pure red! The reverse lights are a nice bright white, it may be the colour is off a bit which makes them appear blue?

I am very proud of the car - I've done ~12,000 miles since it went on the road in June last year, and it's not skipped a beat :)

And while it carries on getting me to and from Swindon every weekend I'll be a happy bunny! ;)

Sorry, I was looking at your blog and I thought I saw blue, but then I am colour blind!

I'm thinking of making my own website for my car, it's a cool idea :) My car also recovered from an impact (because of someone elses crap driving)

I imagine your car is well liked on the Prelude forums yeah? :)

this is stunning. didn't realise what you'd gone through to make it look that good. this car is much better in the flesh than these photos can show.

i love the rear tail lights, didn't realise you had gone through so much to make them. Would be interested in more details on how you made them, ie wiring diagrams etc. (not very good with car electronics when it comes to leds)

nice one.

gen 4s are my fave! i was looking at these before i found the F as well as the 109E.
not too keen on the gen 5 tho.... looks like a mouse on steriods! (well the front of them do!)

jus got a small idle/stalling prob atm, but wiht a bit of luck we might get that sortted this weekend :)
(if tim decides to bloody show up!)

as for the number plate, we got it covered ;)

I always have ideas tickering away, just can't afford to do them all. i'll get round to them all eventually. just love them lights and curious as to how he keeps the brightness the same regardless of small voltage change, because i'm useless with things like that. you can say buy a "whatever" and i wouldn't have a clue :P
