the BPT is the engine out of the 323(not f) 1.8T 4WD. but then u get into the fact u needthe engine, different gearbox, different shafts loom and ecu etc. look up on shaggy's car. |

but then u get into the fact u needthe engine, different gearbox, different shafts loom and ecu etc. look up on shaggy's car. you're not wrong most of the BPT conversions are running the "G-series" 1.8 box which is only found in M/N reg 1.8 BA's you need the box, the mount for the box, the driveshafts 1.5 disks (i believe) are smaller than the 1.8 (although i may be wrong) you need the engine managemenet loom ECU for most of these engine conversios your best bet is to find a car that's running poorly that has what you need for the 2.5 V6 conversion you would be best off finding a V6 and for the BPT - you want an M/N 1.8 BA (ideally) all the best Matt |

if anyone is interested, there is a guy from the states, who manufactures S/C's for the klde/ze engine, almost the complete kit...cost $1500.00 (about £800.00) i am talking with him at the moment as to the other parts i will need, apart from the battery re-locator kit. this kit runs up to 9psi. i just need to sort out the delivery costs... will get back tou you as soon as he has mailed me the details. steve. |
