oh thanks man. great comments from you guys. canthinkof12, sorry about the guy screaming on the first clip. i meant to edit it. it is a 1.8 and has a bolt on kit fitted. we dont have real availability of BPT motors around here. very scarce. we only have the 180se astina and thats it. no v6, 1.5, gtx/r. we are so deprived!!! happy new year guys. i had to tap into my sump for an oil return pipe and where my oil pressure regulator thing is, i had an oil feed pipe coming out of there. i have 2 extra injectors run by a dastec management and a turbo module. i got the entire setup from a budddy of mine with gauges and all. now i need a decent clutch because mine is busted. at the moment the power at the wheels is 133kw 261nm torgue but the car has to go back to the dyno when the clutch is sorted as it was slipping to much on the dyno. the guys are optimistic about the next dyno as they think we will get some more power.... i certainly hope so. wish me luck. i'll post pics of the engine bay as soon as i have it all neat and tidy. cheers guys. |

the clutch is slipping, so i overwelm it by force excelerating it to the point where it wants to spin but instead it slips. that way i get it to boost and dump like an orgasmic woman!!!!!!! |

You got no Intercooler? might have been less work if you bought a GTX manifold with the std GTX (VJ20) turbo on there not to worry tho. Good work, enjoy boosting... get urself a decent FPR and a RX7 ( walbro) fuel pump before u go tuning her again

i am running an intercooler. its just small and very oddly mounted. check on the pics betwen the dump valve and the oil can. its black and sits behind the light. that will be upgraded in due time as well. thanks for the tip on the fpr. what difference does it make performance wise. |

mother f.... 1st to 3rd? thats hectic!!! i want to fit a nice big intercooler now but im a bit worried about fitting it. is it lots of alterations to fit behind the astina bumper? |
|

1st - 3rd is standard policy on a BPT .. its not much fun trying to get grip!
You gotta cut a few bits away but its nothing to worry about... the main issue I had was the water pipe for the rad, I had to bend it about a bit. What you really need is a 2.5" full SS exhaust.. fuel pump and FPR.... boost controller... what AFM are you running? |

The bottom three pics show the bracket for the bonnet... I ended up cutting that in half and mounting it to the actual intercooler... then pushed the water pipe behind. |

thanks shaggy. looks like a nightmare laying ahead for me!! i have a 57mm ss exhaust system currently. im running with a dastec piggyback system a with a turbo module. i also had a dictator full management system but never fitted it. why cant i use my standard fuel pump? the boost controller is currently on my shopping list as well as a fpr after i sort my clutch. any advise on clutch setups? |

Ye get a full organic clutch, Execy one will be nice like mick says. you carnt expect to fire more fuel into ur engine without giving more supply Ur std fuel pump will just die on you... trust me, get a bigger fuel pump and FPR and ur s*it ur pants
