i have a BA 1.8 from 1995, and it has the G-serrie stuf for a BPT.

i want to try tis swap next year, do i need some things to buy before i can swap the engine??

is it recomand to rebuild the eninge??

and how about the ECU from my 1.8 BA, can i swap that with the one out of a BPT??

and the same question for the cabels (don't know the right word)

if you are going to use the BPT ECU, then you'll need the Emission loom (loom from the ECU->Engine) and need to do a little bit of rewiring

the word wireloom translates to "kabelboom"
Wich is funny, if you translate that word directly back it is a wiretree :P
kabel = wire
boom = tree

Hey, try and find a mazda 323 GTX that has bad body damage, u basically need all the engine, ECU, wiring loom ( cables)

If u are 100% sure u have the G series ( as some 1995 models have thr F serieis) then all u need to do is swap the engien over, get a new clutch ( GTX one or better 225mm) and remove the old BP ECU and loom. U will also need a new Intercooler and plumbing pipwork have aread in the F.I section there is lots of info, also havea look at my conversion thread.
