Evening,

I've just purchased a 1999 323F, I'm looking to see if I can purchase and program a remote locking fob for this car.

Also, I am looking to replace the stock head unit with a better one, but I will post another thread for that.

Yes, the remote fobs are available on the internet, you'll need the 2-button one.
unless... you have the 1.3 engine .. I believe this one didn't have the remote facility.

[For the later models (2001 on facelifted) the 1.6 LXi didn't have remote but the GXi did.]

Assuming you have a 1.5 then the programming sequence is elsewhere on this site, no doubt one of our web experts can post the link.
