1st. Buy yourself a can of Coca Cola or Fanta or BEER :D :D
2nd. Drink it. :D
3rd. Cut it with scissors and make rectangle with 3 by 5cm dimentions.
4th. Get the cushions at the highest position and use the cutted pieces to wrap over the shafts"
5th. Move the cushions down with the aluminium pieces on the shaft sliding inside the plastic guides.
6th. When the aluminium pieces get to the point that only 5mm of them sticks out, bend them so they don't fall down when you pull up the cushions itself.
7th.Pull the cushions already

Note: if this doesn't do the trick, buy a large Beer and make the aluminium pieces longer. :D
Oh, yeah.. drink the beer!!

This seems ... complicated

I just grab the front edge of the cushion, and pull it up hard until the 2 little white clips on the cushion pop out of the frame ...

Haha, show me some photos, I'm intrigued about what you're doing! :D

Maybe you had a different type of clip? Are we talking about the same thing?

Now, i'm not a painter(draftsman) don't judge me by that, but i think you will get the idea.

Image

When you pressed down the pilows shafts they have a cone head folowed by stoping channel"
That is the reason the pilows stuck" and don't wont to get out.The plastic piece i draw at the right has 2 locking legs" if i can say so, and they are shaped as a cone towards the shafts(you can see them on the sliced view i draw at the right).Geting in is easy, but getting out is the thing that caused mine to break. When you pull hard enough the plastic has 2 options; to break or if it's still elastic to round the edges and probably damage them without breaking the legs".
That's why i've come up with the idea of beer helping the situation..
Cheers.

I said that i'm not a draftsman
Here is one from M6:

You can clearly see the clip looking thing that i have circled. That "tooth" is upside-down on our F's and it locks the cushions so they cannot get out..
I think it's clearer now..

I removed all the seats bar the drivers seat for track time this year, as has been stated, the squab or cushion just pulls out with a good tug, but you need to grab the cushion by the clip to avoid breakages.

For the backs fold them forward, remove the six bolts two at each end and two in the middle then lift them out, the side bolsters are held in with a bolt at the bottom and a hook at the top :thumbright:
