I want a lantis one like KaFai was selling recently, but dunno if the lantis sign is embossed in the plastic or not?

oh well, back to the drawing board...

still think it would be relatively simple to make the rear panel light up anything you want it to...
might play tomorrow night, i still have one light that works!!!

If its just a case of masking an area off, then I reckon you're right chap, my main question is how you get the backing off, there doesn't seem to be an obvious way.

I can see what i think are clips along the edges, but i'm not gonna try on Matts ;)

do you mean to take the red bit off the reflector panel?

It's glued together, in a similar way to the front indicators, only not as well. i used a hairdrier and a lot of patience, it's quite tricky...

That's really cool! Next version of the mod just to be really spooky, glow in the dark 323F badge! Or even better, rig up a PIR to the rear of the car so that when anyone walks past, the 323F logo lights up for 5 seconds! heheheharharhar!

i have another one, with scotchlite reflective material (the silver banding on a builders or copper's hi-vis clothing) but it didn't have the desired effect.

HA!!! Just finished the repairs, took a while since i've been working long hours, but now it'll be ready for the weekend!
The Mark 2 can start again once i take my spare panel back off the car, all the bits are ready to go on - this time i've been experimenting with LED's.
