So recently my dumb ass decided to try install crank sensor without markings and I’ve stuffed up n put it in the wrong position so now the timing for that’s outta wack and was wondering if anyone knows who to set it back again

Doh!! Well setting the positions on any engine is pretty much the same for all engine - use a big spanner on the crank bolt (where the belts are). Take out number 1 spark plug and stick a long screwdriver in, then turn the engine (with the spanner) until the piston feels like its at the top. Pop the top off the distributor and see if the rotor arm is pointing to position 1 (where the HT lead goes to spark plug 1) That means you're at top dead centre (TDC). Make your marks! You should read up about this more online, but it's dead simple and the same for any engine of that era. Do post again if we can help further. All the best with that

You've posted this in the BJ section, so i assume it's one of those. I have done the crank sensor on mine (1.5) so I can help if that's what yours is. But it's not possible to put it in the wrong position, it has a bolt! Just make it 1mm from the pointer on the pulley. Not 1mm from the pulley, or the pointer will come round and whack the sensor!
