hey guys,

how easy is it to change the gaitor round the gear lever?

would it be possible for someone to make a to do guide???

quite easy, you'll need to remove the centre trim as the gear gairor is 'hooked' on with little tabs.

My Pre Facelift 1.5 has several screws retaining the centre console and a couple of plastic pins in the footwells too if memory serves (although that might have been the BG!) and the Gaiter is attached to a plastic ring which is screwed to the underside. I never did work out how I was supposed to remove the plastic piece under the Handbrake lever though!
