Hy guys, i have problem starting my F.After a nightly drifting with friends i got home and the car didn't give any signs of fail or anything.I parked it infront of my place and the next day i didn't use it.Today outside temperature droped to -15C.The car starter turns, but none of the cylinders fire.I got one 7L botlle and filled it up on the gas station, because i saw that there is little petrol in the tank.No go.I saw that there is no(or not enough) power to the LPG system. The display flashes when it normaly start up.This time nothing flashes.I got 1st cylinder cable out and put an old spark plug in it to see if there's any spark.No.At first i thought that the problem lies at the distributor.I called a guy nearby that sells parts for F's.I got another distributor from him, but again nothing.I saw at the fuel regulator clock that there's no fuel pressure when my friend tried to fire it up.So i measured the V at the fuel pump: 6.18V at ignition on,when turned 3.22V.Now i'm thinking about the Battery. The starter turns(not the fastest i heard it can, but maybe at 50-60%) so by that i judge that the battery is ok?!And can someone clear things for me:I thought that the fuel pump gets voltage only when the car turns the starter to fire the engine. Some vehicles fuel pumps work on igniton on, but i've always thought that on our F's is when turning the engine up.We tried connecting with starting cables from his Rover to the F's battery.Again No go.
When i checked fuses at drivers feet, i saw that one was with totaly melted palstick. It was standing only on it's copper(or whatever is their material) pins.It was not dead! just melted his "body".The fuse as i read and know is for fogs.It says: L.Fog and i pulled it out(well the rest of it).I don't know what Amps it was because of the melted plastick body. All other fuses are visually ok.I checked the fuses in the engine bay,all seemed to be fine. All the instruments inside works, only Lpg system doesn't blink and the car don't want to start.Tomorrow i have nearly 40 km city driving from one doctor to another with my GF and i have no wheels now.
Can someone help with advices what to look for? :-?
I'm running out of ideas and it's freaking cold outside.(there's a wind that makes it feel like -25C) my poor hands..
Thanks.

ok, 1st thing fuel pump run with ignition on until pressure in the rail is rerached, usually 3 or 4 seconds. All the timing for spark, fuel, etc come from the crank sensor. lose that and engine just gonna spin. However I'd be looking at the relays in the engine bay I had one die on me in the xedos and it killed the engine. perfectly fine the night before dead, next morning. it was only that I noticed that there seemed to be a click missing when going to start it that i found the problem, maybe the low temp has caused one to freeze into the off position possibly tapping them might loosen it off it thats the problem

Brucey, you maybe onto something here with the frezzed relay.I'll pop it off and get it home to heat it up to room temp. and then will got to the car to see if there's any change.
About the fuel pump, when i put the adjustable fuel regulator i realised that the fuel rail is pumped to pressure only when the crank turns. Not before, like other car brands.
You can see here on the vid. i made: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ngH4ENHsWW0
when the F had its heart fixed, you can see the manometer of the FPR,the pressure rises only when the crank turns, not before.Well, it didn't fire right from the first time, but you can clearly see the needle go up when the crank turns.I never turn the key right to the starter on the sec.At that time again i was cautious, i was listening about any shorcircuits or connect failures at the time.Bearing in mind that i get the engine out and put it in again, i thought that i could mistake some cables arround. So i carefully turn from acc to ign. on to starter. Also when i played with the car pump(when i put 2nd pump inside) i also confirmed that the pump actuates only on starter. On ignition ON it doesn't seemed to do anything.
Odd or not that's how the car worked maybe all her life. :dontknow:

I may be wrong but I'm only going off memory on mine. I have mine wired separate from the ecu due to the wrong ecu being installed on mine
