I'm new to the forums Hey guys running a sedan type r. In a new race series in New Zealand the 2kcup Just wondering I'm on Toyo T1Rs what tyre pressures have people found worked. I'm interested in hot and cold psi for the track. It's full standard suspension. I need to run 25 to 30 minutes. Have tried been gaining 7 to 8 psi over a run. |

If you go look on the your car section there is a thread there by badger and he is racing in the same series as you and seems to be right up the top end so might want to speak to him |

I know badger well he just runs star spec tyres which are awesome but out of my budget. I'm wanting to know about the toyos if anyone here has tracked them |

As a rule chap, I usually add 4psi all round for track sessions on my Goodyear F1 Eagles, the main reason for upping the pressure is to prevent the rubber rolling off the rim if you're cornering really hard on track, so I do the same with the Toyos as well

Of course, sensible people would reduce the pressure, as it will increase further with the additional heat on a track session

You mean like Richard Hammond was persuaded to do by the redneck when they did the muscle car salt flat runs? Dave DeCosta, a guy I trust, who gives the pre session briefings at Castle Coombe is the one who advised us to do it, he's got more race experience than probably our whole club put together, I'll go with his advice Sensible people are apt to loose their tyres if they corner like Mr Spel and I
