What are we going to do?

I just checked using a VPN in Canada and my Imgur images are there, bright and shiny. This points to it being UK-law related. So use a VPN and if you can, print PDF of the bits you need!

It will be the UK Online Safety Act, Imgur (a US company) will now be required by law to block anyone in UK looking at images uploaded to their servers, in case we're children. It's probably not practical or economical for Imgur to implement age-verification just for UK users, so they've just cut us off wholesale. Anecdotally I hear that's happening with a LOT of non-UK digital service providers: our government has made it too difficult for them to serve us.

I won't otherwise comment on the OSA and the chilling effect it's having on online communication and information exchange in the UK, as it boils my blood and my language would be inappropriate as a forum mod!!!

Yes, use a VPN when you come on the forum - I use Proton, you can turn it off or on as you need it. For today's forum visit I'm in the Netherlands, and I can see everything on the forum.
