hi, any chance of the front rocker bolt sequence for the v6 KF? plz lz plz can't seem to find it anywhere.

Found one on astina gt site that is rather confusing. there is no pics, the squeunce i can't make sense of it!

rocker cover bolt sequence? surely there isn't one because the bolts are so loose?

It's the same principle with all heads.
Working out in a circle so you do not warp it, especially during tightening.

There is no sequence for the rocker cover, but, its not a bad idea to follow the circle method as Nick suggests, put them all in finger tight, then nip up in circle fashion :D

The torque on the BG rocker cover was only 8lb/ft.
Not much, just enough to seal the rubber gasket. :wink:

Thats intresting ill just go the swirl method an i should be ok then :) tighten back over to bout 8-10nm with torque an hope for best when i turn the key :P

does anyone know the correct sequence and torque settings for when re fitting the cam shafts. i have a 1.8 NA BA 1997 and need to know the retainer/carrier torque settings so i do not over tighten them. thanks
