Post subject:  Anyone know something about the speed sensor wire???

Hello, I have a new radio car (INE-S900R by alpine) and I have a little probleme. I search the speed sensor wire backside of the front panel for the speed and the r/m (back of the Steering wheel). That's for the GPS fonction, and I must connect the S900R to this Wire.

The other wire of I must connect is the reverse wire. (the electrical wire for the back light. Wo turned on when the reverse speed is swithed on. (white light).

If anyone can tell me more about that I will be very helped.

(Sorry for my english, I'm swiss) :)

P.S. I post actualy the pics of my car in the apropriate section.

That what I have back of the Steering wheel:

speed sensor is, as i said on the gearbox
2 wires:
a grey and blue wire
a light green and red wire

runs under the battery tray, into the fusebox, through the wing back to the speedo

the tacho on the dash (which i think is what you actually want and i misread it first time round)
has a feed from a white wire from the dizzy, this wire also goes to the "ig-" in your diag box

:thumbright:

I hope that helps fella, apologies for my error first time round

so i would try and pick it up from behind your clocks cos you'll struggle to get it from behind the dash without removing all of it to get at the loom :thumbright:
