Finally, remove the clip holding the door winder in place, again with a flat head screwdriver. You will need to push the door card in a bit to get at the clip. Watch out, the clip will try to reach orbit! Best bet is to have someone else with their hands cupped nearby, otherwise, try and aim it into the car. Mine landed in the driver seat after a few rebounds!



Now to remove all the poppers holding the door card on. I found it easiest to go around the bottom with a screwdriver, leavering the card out. See the photo below for all the poppers. Leave the ones in blue until last, you will need to lift the door card up to get them out.

If you need to take off the plastic sheet to get at the door lock mechanisms, put some rubber gloves on! The black putty/glue/gunk is a b*tch to get off your hands, arms, clothes, shoes, car....



Now to put it back together again, just follow the reverse!

last time i did this, the metal supports that hold the poppers detached from the door card. if this happens to you, normal quick-drying superglue is adequate to bond them back to the doorcard, however, the metal supports are shaped to fit each placement so dont get them mixed up.

Yup, mine do that everytime i take the cards of, so far, no glue has worked gonna try Evo-Stick Wet Grab next :D

Just one thing, mmpob, why do you remove the 'small plug thing' isn't that part of the door seal?????

ok well ive just done mine! mine is an electric window so i guess i got few more wires that need uplugging than non electrics but hey. this guide is very good indeed, it help alot. i managed to take mine off with ease, just need bruteforce when all the screws are off. kinda run your hands from one side to the other making sure all the poppers are out then just remove the card. i was abit confused with the white block where the speaker wired are connected to as the connection block wouldnt fit my new speakers

oh and trust me like the guide says... AVOID the black stuff that sticks like hell

by the way, my are post ford (eletrical windows). Is much diferent? Probably onlya have to disconect the plug wires right?
