A couple of years back I used a glue-together replacement for my outer DV boot. It's now split, so it was time to fit a proper one
( The split-and-glue solution from 2022 is here: https://www.club323f.com/forum/viewtopi ... ot#p760574 )

So with the generous loan of a proper car lift, it was easy to take the whole hub off the drive shaft without stripping off the brake caliper etc.

A big hammer soon had the hub off the end of the drive shaft but revealed the circlip in pretty poor condition. A little fettling was needed to get the circlip to sit nicely in it's groove

I counted the splines on the end of the drive shaft (where it goes into the wheel hub) and it has 22 splines (UK drivers side)

All back together and good for a few more years
