So 2 days ago, I bought myself a car I've been dreaming of for over 3 years. A 1997 323f BA 1.8. I plan to mod the car but I need to know how much power my gearbox can handle. If anyone knows or has a semi accurate estimate, let me know.

I was always under the impression that the f series box that yours probably has , could take up to 200hp where as the g series box was up to 300hp

200 bhp doesn't sound too bad at all! How much boost do you think I'd be running to get that power from a turbo setup? I'm guessing that 200hp is at the flywheel, right?
