As the title says. With the key in contact, turned to accessories, the central lock system works. If I take out the key, it doesn't.
Googling my issue, some people talk about a weird fuse, which turns out to be the IG KEY fuse (50 amp, japanese, male, big fuse). I'll change that one, but just in case, I'm also asking if someone else's got this problem, and if they've fixed it.

Regards,
Alex.

(I'll edit this if it turns out that the fuse was the problem).

That fuse was one of the problems, but I've also found a burned 10A fuse. Anyway, it's all changed, it's all good. Now it works again, and it just costed like 2.10€ lol

Hi Alex

I'm glad you sorted it quickly! :thumbleft:

It was a useful post though: I'll remember to check that fuse if I have any problems with my BA central locking.

Is yours a "pre-Ford", i.e. before 1996/97? I wondered, as on another thread you said you only had one central hole for the spoiler. My 1.5 is a '97 with a pre-Ford spoiler, and only has one central hole; but my 1999 BA has a later spoiler with 2 bolts.

Yes, it's a preford 323F, from 95. Outside is trash, inside is great, engine is great (trash because it's old and worn, I love the car shape tbh).
