I have this problem also, My revs have always sat between 900 1000 rpm (never below 900 ) On the G/Fs BA it sits perfect at 750 rpm. Might try this out tomorrow.
What way do you turn the screw to reduce the revs from 900 to 750 rpm. ( anti clockwise I presume , but correct me if I'm wrong.

for me it was clockwise to reduse and anticlockwise to increase rpm.

First of all sorry for digging up this ancient thread.
I have some trouble with a too low idle and couldn't find any related threads anywhere else.
My car is a 00' 323F BJ 1.5 but utilizes the same diagnostic port and sequenco to adjust the idle.

After consulting the official (dutch) shop manual and bridging the TEN and GND I managed to adjust idle WHILE with the bridge in place.
After I take away the wire, the idle returns to its old state, see vid below.
I can't seem to get the idle up from about 750 to the desired 850.
The current idle is a tad below where the engine feels happy and isn't vibrating more than needed.
