ice sensor was only on the preford V6 - wiring is there on the Pre ford 1.5 and 1.8

Washer level sensor wiring is on the preford, but no sensor.......

Climate control on the Lantis uses the sensor so you cant have both (without doing some rewiring)

So my Type-R should have this sensor? I never get a warning light... even when it's - 27!

Oops, jusr reread that - didnt write that very well.....

yeah you've got the sensor, but as i said (badly) - your car will use it for the climate control so you wont get the ice light on the dash

I see! You know what's a shame? I've got absolutely no idea how to work the CC and I'm pretty sure the air con doesn't work. :(

climate control is simple. Just press auto and then adjust the temperature to the desired temp. the CC will adjust just how much heat or cold air to blow into the car and where from eg. hot air will come from the feet blowers as hot air rises so it will fill the car and opposite with cold...

PS my aircon also doesnt work.. think i got a leak somewhere lol

I assume it needs the air con to work before it can regulate the temperature?

only if you want it colder than the ambient temperature ;)

air con is just on or off - CC adjusts to regulate the temp, and uses the AC when necessary

only if you want the temp in the car to be cooler and even then it will still blow air from the outside in which should cool things down a little. Right now in winter it will work fine heating things up

So uhm, we have a Volvo S40, that have a temperature sensor.

When the temperature is +3 to -6, it lights up extra, to warn that you might want to take it easy.

Is this thing the same? I mean, is it temperature based, or is there something else in play? :O
