Same problem here. Those jubilee clips will rust. I used thick gauge copper wire to secure my back box/pipe

I had the same problem, it's a common one on the BA
I used one of Halfords' exhaust repairs. I think the jubilee clips might not pass the MoT in the UK!

MOT is always a tough call - I suspect garages still have some judgement on things, but my wifes S-Max went through three MOTs with parts of the exhaust held up with jubilee clips. I always go for good quality ones and they hardly show any rust, even after several years. Ultimately it needs fixing right, but as a temporary fix, don't be afraid of a bit of creative bodging
