Hey all.

Thought I would join up on these boards to learn a bit more about my car over the international spectrum.

My car is an Australian mazda astina 323 hatch
94'
2.0 v6
5 speed manual

I've only had it about 2 months, not even.

Done some mods already.

Led parkers
Modified foglight vynal
Tein progressive springs
Whiteline rear swaybar
Resprayed wheels
Momo airbag steering wheel
Debadged

I shall post some pics shortly

Cheers guys, yeah looks great now.

Unforunately my alarm has fooked up currently, so im unable to drive (my indicator is stuck on atm)

On another note, i dont have any vids/clips of exhaust yet. To be honest, its very mild. Which is nice! Cause it gives a great tone for driving without blasting my, or anyone elses' ear drums.

Did my parkers/indicators today.
Like the darker shade with the red, looks better in my opinion.

spraying the red lip between fog lights black and parkers/indicators tinted black also would look better also in my opinion

I actually don't mind the red breaking up the black tbh.
That's a nice example tho.

Next on my list is coilovers and then full alignment/stance setup.

Post subject:  Re: BA - mazda astina 323 2.0 from australia

Okay so its been a long while since I've updated.

Last week when i was driving down the motorway my car hesitated to accelerate. I looked at the dash to see the temp way off hot...

Head gasket blew, engine died, leads melted to the head etc. Very bad.
So now, my kfde is dead :(
I suspect that the water pump died...

Im currently in the situation of questioning whether i should get a jap spec kfze or a klze...

i know the kl is more difficult, but can anyone help me understand what i would need to address if i were to go through with the kl swap. Because out of the two option, the KL would be the better.

Hope to get her running again ASAP!

Think i have sourced a KLZE straight neck!

Now... will it fit my BA hatch?... hrmmm.

Ask Barreljan from this club forum, he putted a KLZE short neck into his car. Straight neck also fits, but you need to reroute your battery to the trunk.

I have KLDE curved neck in ;)

Can i run KLZE ECU with the new motor and use existing Kfde loom?

Or problematic?
