Well, finally after a long drive she is at home, still dirty as I got back to late to wash. Not going to be doing to much on this one, just wheels, lower and bring back to Lantis Type R spec, and leave standard from there.

Debz, I am lucky to have got that car, but we are now eating dry bread and spit for the rest of the week, and my popularity may not be at it highest here, but I do have a Type R. On the other hand, Jayne now has the silver one, and was all smile yesterday when she came home from work, saying how much she loved driving it - Wow she actually express emotion about it.

Howie, that may be the last for a while unless I swop one for a better one, which will NOT be the white one.

As said before, there is plenty of TLC required to get her to her best.

I'll take the wind deflectors (Depending on price) and the cup holders. (if Adakar doesn't get them.)

Wind deflectors I want to try first, but not sure how good they will look on the car, but if they are effective then I may keep them. Cup holder defo going, will PM Adakar, and if he doesnt take it, its yours Phil.

cupholders dont work very well anyway
wind deflectors mean you dont need to close the windows when you have the wipers going lol

as colin says, cup holders are really for auto's everytime i change to 2nd or 4th i smack mine lol

Car washed today for MOT tomorrow. Paint work in shocking condition, sorry no pics at moment.

The car also has folding mirrors as well but the mirrors are not working at all, I think they are not connected at the moment, howevr, I do have a spare set plus a set of motors that came with the car.

Unfortunately due to work, I havent had any time to explore and find out all that I have on the car, but that will come in due course.

Drove the car to MOT and back today, WOW, it is so different to my others, cant wait to have a real drive in her, anyway

just 4 advisories, all the tyres are near legal limit. Not a problem as they were going to be binned anyway as they are 35 profile, absolutle shit ride from them, feel every ripple in the road.

Drove her today, wow, what a pleasure to drive, now cant wait for Sunday to wash, clay, polish and wax. Hopefully time to get to the interior as well. Need to clean the Lantis fitted carpets as well.

Hugh, I would like to think that it did go to the best home, but be assured there are others on here who would have loved and looked after her just as well.

Keep checking on the post and you will be able to keep up to date with her progress, Sunday will be the first serious polish and then the task of getting the paint touched up will begin as well. Next big change will be the wheels as soon as I find the ones I want.

Between the rain and sorting Jaynes remote for alarm, I have managed to wash the car again and clayed the roof, man I cant believe waht a difference the clay makes. Will do the rest of the car tomorrow and then put some pics up with her gleaming al polished and waxed.

Started yesterday and spent about 4 hours on the car, washed and the clayed the roof, today I have just spent the last 14 hours doing the rest of the car. stripped all the lights out except the fogs, also the rear spoiler and reflector panel was removed before claying the entire car, then polished it and waxed finally. Whilst the lights were stripped out, I had to rewire the side repeaters and changed back to standard orange, cleaned and sorted the head lights and front side lights, and fitted a second reverse as it should be, had to chage wireing for that as well. New fogs will be fitted in due course.

I have taken loads of pics with Jaynes new camera, but need to load the driver to my Lappy before I can upload them, but for now 4 YUKKIE pics of the car all done. Windows and plastics are not done as it is now 01h00 in the morning. I will load the new good pics tomorrow morning hopefully and replace these ones, but here are some as a taster.
