Hi to all,

I've been going to this site for ages via the image search function on google haha. Your cars are awesome. Just thought about joining now when I started work on my recently acquired 323f.
This car has moved around members in our local mazda club here in the ph til it finally wound up in my hands.

Here she was when i traded in my 98 galant 8g for her.

Image

She had her fair share of problems when I got her though so I started work on maintenance on engine oil leaks and whatnot.

Now I do apologize to all the purists out there but ever since childhood I have had a love for redesigning cars. So the next pic shows the new bumper i designed and fabricated for her.

Image

Then i found out she had some rust on and the paint was starting to go in some places as well. Then her engine ecu got fried for some reason. So 2 months after I got her, she was stuck in my garage laying around. THen a rat got in the car and chewed up a bit of the front seat...This made me very sad. Luckily I had a customer come in who had me do a full body kit for his car so this gave me the money to rebuild the mazda.

First up I got a good deal on a BP engine swap:

Image

then came the color change when we sprayed her over in my garage:

Image

decided to go for a similar metallic gray with gold flake color to the mazda 3 we have here

Image

had some red vinyl sticko to go on the side with some 323f lantis decals

Image

and i redid the chin so here she is currently:

on 17s torques colored orange

Image

also had someone redo the seats in red leather with gray fabric inlay.. since i had the materials here from a couch my mom had redone haha. So there, no more literally ratty seats

Thanks for looking. Have an awesome day to all :D

Awesome work mate, that is a very nice colour, reminds me of my first BA which was thunder grey, love the front bumper, not sure if I like the bonnet, but long as you do thats all that matters :)

thanks man. I think this one's called meteorite grey. Yeah I would have liked to have kept the bonnet stock but it gets really hot here in this country so every bit helps

hi guys. i just got these 16s rims in. They look awesome in their polished metal state but the problem is that their centercaps have gone missing. I can fabricate fiberglass centercaps for em but i won't be able to match the polished steel finish on the rim. Can you guys help me decide what color to paint em and if i should paint just the centerplate or til the rivets?
Image

I'm putting them on a dark gray 96 mazda 323 with ms kits:

option 1: gunmetal ( is it too much grays since the car is gray)
Image

option 2: inca gold

Image

option 3: lighter gold

Image

option 4: teal? ( i dunno why but i'm really attracted to this @_@ )

Image

The golds are fine too but i've had gold rims on my cars for the past 4years haha

Very clean ride, i like the sparkle grey a lot!
Is the front bumper totally self-made? to me it looks a bit like from a ford focus.
And why do you have a german license plate under your actual one?
