got a zxi for parts in sparkle green

and she is called robbie (dont ask LOL)





and so far ive had bugger all time to do anything, but all piccys will be sent out or posted here tomorrow without fail

but basically the v6 is knackered engine wise as its leaked oil all over the alternator, head seems ok but leak is lower in the engine block, air intake to TB is in brilliant condition
exhaust is blowing from several places
brakes are shot
fogs are in tip top condition
bodywork is first class, but spleeeeeter has a small defect
alloys are not my cup of tea
hardly any scratches on the drivers window
interior is soooooooo clean and rip free
boot carpet is good, as is the interior carpet, and everything works as it should
will post stuff in the for sale section as i get it out of the car

and the bonus of finding the haynes manual in the boot under the spare wheel was quality

yep nice weather and not spending all bloody day at the oncology department with my fatherinlaw

managed to get to the post office first thing, then hospital til 6.30pm

so unfortunately no piccys guys and gals for those that had asked

going to be friday now work permitting

and i should be able to switch the wing over as well me hopes

well went to start her up after i got home from work this evening and she was dead

so managed to bump start her and get her to a friend who deals with auto electrics
just as he was finishing for the day

and got a spanking new battery for £30 and a free test to make sure all the rest was ok

so when i can be arsed tomorrow i will swap them over

and she will live on

right so far this year

new fan belt (needs tightening)
steelies need new tyres
interior leds all over the place
imola alloys (yes i got some at last!!!!!!)
stripping the zxi

coillies are due in the next week

and i have finally fitted the new front speakers (still 5x7) that i got off stuz last year
sounds good just need a new head unit now, and amp and rear speakers

Looks like someone has shunted your offside rear at some point? Same as mine

the brace was from col, still to go on the car

but ive found that the top brace has improved the handling completely, especially as the car is still not on coillies
the above photo which i said shes lowered was with the whole family in the car

and a friend reversed her into another car last year, hence why i have the v6 as well for parts

well had a good day stripping more bits to sell from the v6

and ive made myself a new deck chair

very, col should be happy any way

well she died on me again, just a few hours ago

thought i had a leak and was keeping an eye on it, but didnt realise how bad

so she is now back at the garage that changed the cam belt and pump, just a few months ago
not nice seeing her on a trailer again

bit of a ball ache not having a spare car really, so apologese to anyone waiting for parts its going to be a very small delay

Any idea where the leak was coming from?

when they ring me to tell me will let you know, but i had a small amount or liquid on the plastic under the cam belt

no massive puddle until it went splosh

but they said they would sort it as it should have lasted for 90 thousand miles not the measly amount i had done since it was replaced

Feel for you but as you can see it's not just the r's that break

if my clutch or box goes soon we'll be level pegging!

Sounds good though that they will fix it, I assume at no cost to you?

we shall see, but they have dealt with julie from when she was 4 years old ish and know im trying to keep her alive for as long as possible

and i got her back at 2pm ish, covered in seagull crap, but running

very speedy service by Arbow Garage once again, and she will be back to them on thursday for a new clutch

only cost me £50 to get her transported there, faulty pump was the diagnosis (but will be keeping an eye on this one) and a new cambelt as well so not to bad

dont have to buy a matiz as a run around PMSL

well i have been tinkering again and done some bits and bobs

and the nuts

not been cleaned for a week

new project of lightend rear doors from the v6

cleaned and all internals removed


both rear doors polished



now i need to get the paint work up to standard
fill the scratch on the passenger one, then figure out what to do with the windows
if i have them fixed closed, then i could get perspex and seal it to the door frame ( and smooth the door handles)

but this is a long term project for when the youngest has no need for lifts

well now she has cupholders fitted in the central arm rest

but i can see me having issues with them

also found out how to mod a normal armrest in to a cupholder
