lol reminds me of a laguna I had, new tyre fitted and strange knocking appeared, turned out to be the balancing weights catching the brake calliper

I've never had this issue before so I was convinced the issue was wheel bearing XD nice to know its not just me who's had this though.

I've got 8mm hubcentric spacers on Maddy & 15mm SuperGT spacers on Vulcan so I could of swapped them over but the issue seems to have gone so we're all good

Happy to say that Maddy passed her MOT on Friday evening woop! Another year of motoring ahead!!

Couple of issues to sort with the brakes but nothing that can't be fixed.

Also managed to fit the Euro fog that hugs gave me

Why did you remove the rear wiper?and radio aerial too?

Well I've always taken the rear wiper off all my BA's as I like the look for some reason

The aerial was an aftermarket one that extended about 5 foot from the car so it was rather high. Plus the radio in it is Bluetooth compatible with my phone so I always listen to things through that and never listen to the radio anyway

Update time!

Only 2 weeks to go until Jap Performance Show so spent some time working on Maddy yesterday. Took the front bumper off....virtually every bolt sheered got the splitter off, again every bolt on the side panels sheered







Managed to get it all painted and back on the car though - even if the Mazda Classic Red painted splitter doesn't quite match the bumper Fitted a better passenger side fog light too supplied by Pinkers horrible and milky beforehand



Gave her a much needed wash and wax after also managed to get rid of the horrible knocking noise I had the back of the car....turns out the drop link was shagged....after 130miles.....top quality or what

Had an unfortunate accident in Maddy on the way back from JAE so she's going to be broken for parts. Parts that are already gone/ damaged are; wheels, front bumper, condenser, towing eye assembly. Everything else will be available

Luckily yes! I've looked at the car again (after calming down & once the red mist had passed) and the damage is actually very light. I have however bought a replacement as I was thinking of replacing it with something more efficient due to new work commitments. So, I'm going to put it up for sale. The shell and chassis is in too good condition to go to scrap or eventually end up as scrap after breaking some bits.

Glad to hear you're (mostly) all right and other are all right.

Was wondering about your reaction to scrap it, given the work you'd put in and relatively minor damage you described. I figured you must've bent the chassis or something.

Again glad to hear you've come to a different conclusion after a 'cooling off period'! Hopefully someone'll pick Maddy up and keep 'her' going.

I've doubts regarding the paint of the wheels but OK
By the way, aren't they a bit unconfortable for a daily driver?

What I'm sure I don't like is the front indicators. Sorry my opinion
