Done them at home ;)

Waterbased Halfords paints, Sanded them down, cleaned them throughly then a couple of coats of primer, couple of top coat then the same with lacquer. Insides as well so consistent throughout the wheel. No baking as no room in our oven and the mrs would have killed me

No updates really

I had a brilliant weekend at Howies a couple of weeks back. Spent the weekend machine polishing the car and bringing it up to a better standard.

Still got to refurb the rear wheels and either respray or replace the bonnet and bumper.

No new mods for a while, just a quick update of work done over the last year and a half

How my addiction started

Now. Front wheels refurbished, new fogs, splitter, lowered, induction kit, new heater control and other bits I cant remember. I also have a major addiction to Meguiars which I hold several of you here on the forum responsible for

Still to do. Rear wheel refurbishment, new bonnet and bumper and the dreaded rust to sort on rear arch

Darren, I remember talking to you in July 2010 when we met up after the JAE reps meet for lunch, and looking at your car...I knew then that you would take the car from what it was, and turn it into something pretty special, but I had no idea how far you would go.

I know you will say you still have a long way to go...but you really have transformed the car over the last year or so mate, it's a real credit to you :)

Beautiful is one of the many words I can use to describe this car, this car is a real credit to you and you have done more than an amazing job on it.

I hope the addiction isn't too bad but I'm afraid there is no known cure for it

keep up the good work and effort buddy :)
