I have a Stephens intake installed now.

Who wants to see photos? Or do people not pay attention to this thread?

It has definately changed the sound but i think i have lost a bit of performance as i dont have the direct caf and a secondary caf surrounding the induction kit. Will be sorted soon though!

Got it from the for sale section from Danny. Now that i have the CAF fitted it seems to make a positive difference. Its the change in sound i cant get over though. I have never had a car sounding like this :o

Thanks guys.

The brakes are pretty much the same though. Maybe if they were twinned with decent vented disks it would make a difference.

i think you are right makz me old bean. Can anyone shine some light on this??? I could do a wee customisation to do this but i never even had the sensor pluged it for a few months and it seemed to work ok.

Is the sensor not a temp sensor?

the sensor is air temp
the maf (as the name suggests) reads air flow

i dont think you'll see much in the way of issues having it after the MAF

as your engine bay is looking nice and tidy, one thing i would look at (if it were my car) would be a hiding place for the HID ballasts so they're not so much on show

The HID's are not connected, i am having problems with them which will be fixed and the ballasts will be outa sight and outa mind! The surrounding ares will be cleaned soon enough when this weather behaves itself.

Well i have had the car a year on MONDAY!! Also i have been modifying it for about 8 months. Just a little post of before and afters!!!
