3 hours but worth it. The wheels are knackered, tried to clean them up but to far gone, they need a referb.

Looking nice buddy, you need a nice set of wheels to finish it off I reckon.....

**Posted:** Fri Apr 16, 2010 9:40 pm

Shame about the wheels and the marks from 157K's worth of driving though.

Looks very nice

What did you try on the wheels?
Meguairs hot wheels is suprisingly good, if you have access to a pressure washer..
Might need a bit of wire wool with autosol

**Posted:** Fri Apr 16, 2010 10:54 pm

Used cheap Halfords alloy wheel cleaner and a toothbrush errnee. Not the best stuff to use to be honest. Think i'll try some wire wool over the weekend.

**Posted:** Sun May 30, 2010 11:00 pm

Thanks Marc, funds are tight for mods but can still give the old girl a good clean.

This was the last panel I polished, rushed it to be able to get pics so didnt do a great job. Went into Halfords today to look for a touch up pen, dont know why I bothered, the little oink who served me had no interest at all. Think I might be going elsewhere in future.
