Hey again....yep its me

Seriously, this is SO weird!
Yesterday I replaced the dash clock. Now that I already had the whole speedometer unit out, I took the chance to replace the green couloured bulbs with red LED's. So, I was about to put it all back together when I thought of testing it first to see if all the bulbs etc. would light up. Nothing. Nothing at all. The bulbs for the indicator arrows and long-beam works fine when activated, but not the illumination in the speedo or the illumination on the center console around the air regulator (hot/cold). The funny thing is, when testing the speedo in another BG it works fine??? I've checked the fuses but that is not it. What can possibly be wrong here?

LED's can be fitted with the wrong polarity try taking one out turning it 180° and fitting it back in :D

That's not the problem, the problem is that the illumination doesn't seem to work at all....could it be a relay?

I solved the problem...embarrassing but true non the less. I forgot i took the dimmer switch completely out so that's why no relays or fuses were blown. The car needs the switch in order for the illumination to work:/
