Hi ive been doing endless research to find out wats the real compression ratio for the Mazda KF-"DE" NOT KL-ZE, KL-DE, KF-ZE , i need actual proof of the compression ratio for my KF-DE, i want to put turbo but i want to know if it even makes sense investing time & money. I kno KL is sumtin like 10:1 & KF-ZE is sumtin like 9:5:1

Anyone can provide actual evidence of wat the compression ratio on on Mazda 2.0L V6 KF-DE 140HP model engine....

K8 = 9.2:1
KF = 9.5:1
KLDE = 9.2:1
KLZE = 10.0:1

Your KF is good for boost. Get a proper ECU and tune on the dyno and it will do fine. I'm running a ZE with 0.5 bar (7psi) boost with the T3/T4 turbo without any problems 8) .

What output figures are you trying to get and with what turbo ?
