I am interested to buy a Japan-Spec '93 Mazda Lantis Type-R which comes with a 2.0 V6 engine. However, I am having trouble on locating the engine number. Understand that the engine is so cramped, I had searched about 30 minutes but still could not find the engine number. Maybe I'm old!

Appreciate if any members over here can assist on locating the engine on the 2.0 V6 engine. Would like to have a cross-reference with the registration card before paying deposit.

My 1.5's engine number is located on the right hand rear side of the engine, and is imprinted onto a flat bit of casing on the original block.

May not be anywhere near this on the 2.0 V6 - but it's worth a try!
