Instructions

  1. Remove the fuse for the horn (interior fusebox) and make sure the front wheels are pointing straight ahead and the steering wheel is centred.

  2. On the back of the steering wheel there`s 3 bolts, 10mm. Remove them to release the horn pad.

  8. Grip the wheel at the "quarter past nine" position and, using "moderate" violence shake it loose. Once its loose remove the nut and the wheel.

  9. While it`s off check the 2 indicator tabs (red arrows) are at the 6 o`clock position, and clean the spring loaded horn earth rod (green arrow).

  11. The 2 indicator tabs on the steering column match up with the 2 holes in your new steering boss.

  13. Fit the new wheel and boss together as it makes it easier to line up. Don`t fully tighten the steering wheel to the boss at this stage. Make sure the splines on the boss match the steering column, you should not have to force it on. Tighten the bolt to 29 to 36 lb/ft or 39 to 49 Nm using a torque wrench.
