Front Bumper Removal

Introduction

1. Remove the small screw to the side of the sidelight unit (indicators), pull the unit out, remove the lightbulbs from their fixing mounts, repeat the process for both sides leaving the lightbulbs hanging inside the bumper.


2. Where the sidelights were mounted you'll see three bolts attached to the car chassis, treat these with some 3 in 1 deep penetrating oil and remove. Repeat for both sides.


3. Underneath the side of the bumper you'll see a small bolt with a bracket attached to the chassis, remove and repeat both sides.


4. Above the towing eye's youll see a large bolt attached to the chassis, treat, remove and repeat for both sides.


5. Just under the wheel arch at the top of the bumper, there is a small screw attaching the bumper to the wheel arch, remove this and unclip the plastic fastener.


6. The bumper should now just pull away from the car.

RE-FITTING AFTERMARKET OR STANDARD BUMPER IS THE REVERSE OF REMOVAL.
