Tail Light Tinting

Since modding my car the only standard part of the car I dislike are the rear clusters (mainly the orange part), so I spent 30 minutes playing with photoshop to see the difference tinting the clusters would make.

I am not 100% sure on the legality of tinting your clusters but most new cars have blacked out rear cluster (e.g. MK4 Golf GTi and the new Corsa). From what I understand you can do it but the rear reflectors with in the clusters must still work and the colour of the lights must be visable.
