True, I used to love the sound of my S4. I'd actually consider another one.

Next will be either a Monaro or M5 though.......

Today went on a wee shop to Hellfrauds:

Meg's Smooth Surface Clay Kit

Autoglym:
Fabric Hood Set
Custom Wheel Cleaner
Fast Glass

Turtlewax Platinum:
Car Wash
Car Wax
Extra Gloss

Red caliper paint (yes, I'm a chav!) - But I'm painting wheels black so wanting them to stick out.....

It was on special, 3 for 2 - Likewise with Autoglym.

I already have Meg's Tech Wax and Deep Crystal Carnauba Wax in the garage. You can't have too many cleaning products! I'll be washing/polishing/waxing weekly once the weather is nicer again. Guess I'll just experiment until I find the best combo.

Have to say, was quite impressed with the Autoglym range and especially the fabric hood set. I have a nice covering of 'foost' on the inside of my roof. I shall be glad to kill the bastards Smile

Fast glass also does for plastic windows so I'll give my rear window a clean too. Be nice to see out of it for a change thumbleft

If the fast glass is leaving streak's on the windows when wiping off use newspaper or tissue paper instead of a cloth Wink
Its also good for cleaning marks on the plastics.

Bacteria is common on soft top hoods. with the temp change... cool out side warm in,
Ive not used turtles wax's stuff so cant comment, Auto glym is a very good make for the price.

I used to polish the evo with turtle wax's normal stuff and it came out cracking. This is the platinum stuff, better be worth it or I'll never buy their products again.

RHRH, I have owned an Evo VI as well as the S2000. Both were outstanding cars but I personally prefer the S2000.

There are two models of S2000, open and GT. GT basically means that it originally came with a hardtop but essentially both are the same car. You can pick hardtops up for £500 or so plus £200 for the fitting kit over here in the UK.

You can also go American on the S2000 and fit a camaro V8:

Apparently weighs the same as the standard s2000 engine and can be done quite successfully.
