hello everyone im new to this site and i must say what a great site it is. it has helped me with a few things that i needed clearing up.
but there is still one more thing that is puzzling me and its those little air filters in the rockerbox cover what are they for and what are the benifits and how do you fit them? can anyone help as i have one that was given to me and didnt know what to do with it.
my mazda 323 1.8 executive is a nice car and its the first mazda i have owned and i love it if i could just sort a few things out. i will show pics soon thanx |

thank you everyone who replied and welcomed me that was cool but still a bit confused as to where the breather filter should go? does it replace the little hose of the air filter hose and if so what do you block the air filter hose bit up with.also does having one of these fitted actually achieve anything. for my next question i have a 5" slashcut big bore exhaust i want to put on my car but have no idea how to adjust all the pipe work around it as i have the original box and pipes of the old exhaust any ideas thanx leigh  |

Hi Leigh,
Hope these help a bit ...
My old 1.8 engine bay:
Close up of the breather filter. Just above the right hand side of the breather filter, there's the entrance to the air intake pipe. I screwed a dark coloured Hex bolt into it to block it off.
Does it achieve anything? No, not really Arguably looks nice though

HAS ANY1 DONE A 1997 323 UP AND HOW HARD IS IT
I LOOKED AT THE BIT OV THE SITE WOT SAYS HOW TO DO STUFF AN IT LOOKS TOO EASY ANY IDEAS ON WERE TO LOOK FOR SPORT FILTERS,BODY KITS, SPOILERS AND FAT EXHAUSTS
